Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): A one-day institutional visit was organised for the students of Government High School, Khaghaboto pursuing Vocational Subject Retail, at DIMUL (Dimapur District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd) Dairy Firm, Chümoukedima on September 24.
A press release received here stated that the visit, part of the practical learning component of their curriculum, provided an insightful experience into the workings of local dairy business.
The entire visit was led by Dr Vikovor Nipu, Manager of Processing & Quality Control at DIMUL. The day began with a tour of the production facility by Dr Vikovor, who briefed the on the various stages of milk processing, from pasteurization to the production of popular items like curd, butter, and paneer.
One of the highlights of the visit was an interactive session with the firm’s production manager, who explained the importance of quality control in ensuring that consumers receive fresh, nutritious products. He also emphasised the need for effective supply chain management, a key component of the retail industry, which links production with customer satisfaction.
