Pughoboto, October 8 (DIPR): Government High School, Pughoboto has been shortlisted by the government to be a centre for HSLC exam and the school will be likely visited by NBSE officials for verification any time. This was informed by ADC Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho, who is also the vice chairperson of Sub-divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB), Pughoboto during the board’s meeting on October 6. In this regard, the ADC asked the school representatives to give proper directive to the students to stop writing on the walls so as to maintain cleanliness in the schools besides developing a sense of belongingness.
Meanwhile, SDEO Pughoboto, Watisangla informed that people's exam for class IV will be conducted in 5 centres in different areas from November 8 to 9, 2016; the selected students will be given award.
The house also decided to paint their CGI sheet houses with green colour in order to achieve the slogan ‘Green Pughoboto/Clean Pughoboto’ though not mandatory. Informing the house, Ad-hoc Town Committee Vice Chairman, Viyikhu said that mass social work will be conducted before the NBCC women conference to be hosted by SABAK at Pughoboto HQ from October 21 to 23, 2016.
Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho President, Inavi Swu said that their organisation has decided to visit the schools within their jurisdiction and work out the problems and grievances particularly on schools' enrolment starting from Asukiqa area, for which, he sought coordination from all the stakeholders. He also urged the government officials to give proper knowledge about the projects/schemes implemented by the government.
After the meeting, the Clean Award Committee Members visited some neighbouring villages led by its Convenor and SDO (C), Er. Namang Chang.
