Wokha, July 11 (MExN): A team of 22 class 12 students of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Bhandari visited important places of interest in Kolkata from June 28 to 30 as part of their 5-day educational tour along with their Principal, Vice Principal, and two PG Teachers.
A press release informed that the team visited Victoria Memorial Hall, Science City, Indian Museum and Nicco Park in Kolkata. “Daring the hot summer, the students enjoyed getting exposed to the glimpses of historical events and wonders of science along with enjoying the fun of travelling together,” the release stated. They also had a day of relaxation at the Nicco Amusement Park playing the various rides provided at the Water Park and the Main Park.
“The students were excited to see the life prevailing in the city and said that the tour has aroused their interest for exploring the wonders of the land and life through travel,” the release added.
