Kiphire, July 23 (MExN): Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Kiphire held its Fresher’s Day with Principal Arvind Kumar exhorting the freshers at the auditorium of the school.
Kumar congratulated the students for passing the recently held HSLC exam and asked them to be sincere and dedicated in their studies. This is the day you have to fix your aim in life and march ahead, he told the students.
The principal also called upon the students to give one’s best because student’s life is very precious and it is the time for one to prepare for future.
He further said the world is very competitive and therefore asked the students to fit in to the competitive world. “Hard work is the only solution which has no substitute,” he added.
Speaking on behalf of the freshers, Rezial of Class XI said, “We have entered into new areas in our life and it is you the teachers and my senior to guide us to let us fulfill our dreams.” She also assured to work hard to keep the name of the institution flying high.
Class XII students presented special song, while Atsamong chaired the programme and Lipiri, G/T pronounced benediction. The event was attended by teaching faculty, students, and staffs of the school.
