Tuensang, October 19 (DIPR): Three day Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Tuensang annual sports meet got underway on October 19 at parade ground, Tuensang.
The opening ceremony was graced by Camp Commandant HQ. Nagaland Range North Assam Rifles Dy. Commandant, Shyamal Pual as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he called upon the students to be sincere in their studies as well as to take part in co-curricular activities, stating that the combination of these two makes a person to be self reliable and successful in life. The chief guest declared the sports week opened.
Earlier, Gods blessing was invoked by Akumba while welcome address was delivered by the Convenor, Sports Meet. Short speech was also delivered by the Principal of GHSS. Other highlights included special number, drill display & dancing.
