
School submits representation to Advisor of Schools Education
Zunheboto, April 19 (MExN): The Principal of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) in Zunheboto today alleged that “in spite of 60 years of the school’s existence, the step motherly treatment from the state government has ensured that the pathetic condition of the school remains the same.”
On behalf of the School, the Principal submitted a representation to Advisor of Schools Education, KT Sukhalu, IAS (Retd) on April 19, informed a press release issued by the Media Cell, NDPP Zunheboto Region.
Gracing the inaugural of the RMSA building at GHSS Zunheboto, the Advisor KT Sukhalu also said, “Things were better in the 60s and 70s” and held the negligence of the government responsible for the “present deplorable condition.”
The Advisor in his speech said, “Seeing the pathetic condition of the school is really painful” and expressed hope that he would able to do something about knocking down the old school building and built a new one.
Acknowledging that students are the future of the nation, the Advisor said, “the youth stage is short and students should do their utmost to achieve optimum results.” He also stressed that students these days all over Nagaland are finding it difficult to handle the advancement of technology. Urging the students to take life seriously, he said that he hoped that someday some students from the school would enter Civil Service.
