Dimapur, June 13 (MExN): A girl child who claims to be from Dimapur was found in West Bengal on April 22, 2016 by GRP Radhikapur. A press release from Lozüa Kape, Coordinator, CHILDLINE Dimapur stated that the child is currently in a shelter home in West Bengal and needs to be restored back to her family.
“As per the information received from Uttar Dinajpur CHILDLINE and during our telephonic conversation with the child it was learned that she is from Dimapur and resides near Dimapur airport,” the release said.
The child, according to the release, was brought to Dimapur when she was very young, so she could not remember much about her parents. She was reportedly staying with a Naga family, who has three children.
