One girl was found dead in Dimapur on October 22. Police suspect it to be a case of rape and murder.
The body was discovered around 7:00 am today within the premises of a school in Kacharigaon. According to the police, the deceased victim, a 17 year-old school student, was found unclothed from the waist down raising suspicion of rape and murder.
The police declined to divulge further details, while only informing that one male youth was arrested. It was added that Post-mortem was conducted and the report was being awaited, while the body of the victim was handed over to her family.
