GMS lower Chandmari celebrates 10th anniversary

Dignitaries, teachers and students during celebration of ten years of GMS Lower Chandmari on March 2.

Kohima, March 2 (MExN): The Government Middle School (GMS) Lower Chandmari, Kohima today observed 10 years of establishment of the school at the School Auditorium.

School Management Committee Chairman, Thungbemo Mozhui presented a brief report from 2010-2020.

Speaking on the occasion, Ward-13 Council chairman Lhouliebei-o Khezie challenged the SMC members, teachers and students to produce good result.

He also stressed on the 3 Ds, that is, Discipline, Dedication and Devotion in order to become a well educated person.

Dr. Achila Lanu emphasized about communitisation policy of the government and the need to improve quality education by updating the knowledge of teachers every day.

GB and SMC member Hoshito Assumi congratulated GMS for completing 10 years of establishment.

The program was chaired by SMC secretary John Kath while welcome address was delivered by head teacher Y Nchumbemo Odyuo.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Jenny Kath. The programme was followed by joint meeting of colony ward councils, SMC members and teachers.
