Zunheboto, November 29 (DIPR): Government Middle School (GMS), North Point, Zunheboto celebrated its Golden Jubilee on November 29 with JEO, Zunheboto, Bohoto as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the JEO lauded the pioneers who served the school tirelessly amidst untold difficulties in those days. He said that jubilee celebration is a moment of retrospection and a time to seek blessings for the future and called upon the teachers to be more dedicated and responsible while performing their duties in shaping the future of the students.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Chairman WEC, Ghuhevi Khuju, Luheto Yeptho and pioneer teachers. The program was chaired by Hotopu GT, vote of thanks was proposed by Member, WEC Atovi Yeptho. As part of 50 years of its existence, the students also undertook an exposure trip to Doyang Hydro Electric Project, Wokha led by teachers.
