Dimapur, November 15 (MExN): Government Middle School, Tonglongsor Compound celebrated its golden jubilee on November 14 at the school premises with Rev. C. Lima, Executive Secretary, USBLA Yangli.
The Reverend exhorted the gathering to live in unity amongst one another and also let the jubilee mark another milestone for coming generations. He also encouraged the present teaching staffs to work tirelessly despite all difficulties and shortcomings.
The programme was chaired by L. Hopongse, Head Teacher, and invocation by Somong Pastor. L. Rangkha, VEC Chairman welcomed the gathering. Special number was presented by BYE Trongar, Longkhitpeh and Alisopur.
Short speeches were delivered by Lidong, VCC Trongar, Olemba Chang, Tekaba, retired teacher and R. Imli, retired teacher. Ngangshi, VCC Alisopur exhorted the gathering.
