GOC, 3 Corps Lt General Rajeev Sirohi with Nagaland State Governor, PB Acharya on January 24.
KOHIMA, JANUARY 24 (MExN): Lt General Rajeev Sirohi, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Corps, Dimapur called on Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya at Raj Bhavan today.
A press note from the Governor’s Secretariat informed that they discussed border security issues and recruitment of local youth into the Indian Army.
During the meeting, the Governor commended the security forces for their preparedness and élan and expressed his confidence about the security deployment in ensuring a peaceful and secure environment in the state. He appreciated the security forces for maintaining peace and tranquillity in the state despite many challenges.
The GOC meanwhile assured the Governor of a high degree of bonhomie between the people of Nagaland and the Security Forces.
