
DIMAPUR, APRIL 26 (MExN): The Government of India has announced 2-day mourning on April 26 & 27 as a mark of respect to late Parkash Singh Badal, former Chief Minister of Punjab who passed away on April 25.
Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI, has issued a message stating that Parkash Singh Badal, former Chief Minister of Punjab passed away on April 2023. As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, the Government of India has decided that there will be state mourning for two days on April 26 & 27 throughout India, a DIPR report stated.
On the days of mourning, the national Flag will be flown at half-mast on all buildings where the National flag is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment on these two days.
