
Dimapur, April 27 (MExN): The cease-fire between the Government of Indian and the GPRN/NSCN has been extended for another year with effect from April 28, 2013. According to the MIP, the GoI and the GPRN/NSCN met in New Delhi and “mutually decided to extend for another one year with effect from 28th April 2013 to bring about a lasting peace in the state of Nagaland with the involvement of Naga people.” It further stated that both parties agreed that the “ceasefire will be subject to adherence to the Ceasefire Ground Rules as revised on 27th April 2012.” Joint Secretary Shambhu Singh led the Indian delegation, while the GPRN/NSCN delegation was headed by its Supervisor, C. Singson and comprised of Jack Zhimomi Co- supervisor, Bohoto Kiba Member, W. Chennyeim Member, N.T Jungio Member, and Carlos K. Zhimomi secretary CFSB.
