Dimapur, October 25 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) today stated that both the Government of India (GoI) and NSCN are serious and committed to concretise the lndo-Naga political talks and arrive at a tangible solution based on the principle of Framework Agreement.
“Despite differences on certain issues, it is to put on record that the GoI and the NSCN are serious and committed to concretise the lndo-Naga political talks and arrive at a tangible solution based on the principle of Framework Agreement,” affirmed a press statement issued by W Zimik, the NSCN (IM) Talk Secretary.
According to Zimik, the recent press statement issued by MIP, NSCN/GPRN on October 23 relating to the ongoing lndo-Naga political talks were “misquoted” by some media houses creating confusions among the people. “It is found that some media houses have misquoted and disinformed creating confusions in the minds of the people,” he added.
Accordingly, he asserted that both negotiating parties “serious and committed to concretise the lndo-Naga political talks.”
