Golden Crown Theological College 13th graduation ceremony held

Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): A total of 19 students graduated from the Golden Crown Theological College (GCTC) during its 13th graduation ceremony. Rev Dr Mangyang Chang, Associate State Secretary, Indian Evangelical Mission, speaking during the ceremony encouraged the graduating students affirming the call of God on their life and said, “If we understand the magnitude of the holiness of our call - then we will be effective for God's ministry.”  

Academic award for diploma was conferred to Kirenthung Odyuo. The campus life award was bagged by Longshithung Yanthan. The Music award went to Chumchilo Kikon and Ebeni Kithan, and they presented a duet. Academic Award for Bachelor in Theology goes to Honily Sumi. She also got awards for Biblical Studies, Theology and Ethics, Christian Ministry, Church History, Religion and Society, General Studies, Bible Knowledge and Sermon.  

The presenting of the Graduates was done by Jemima Assumi. The awards were presented by Rev. Dr. Nzan Odyuo, Director and Principal GCTC, and the certificates were presented by Rev. M. K. Dhar, Registrar and Vice-Principal GCTC. The Act of Commissioning and prayer for the graduates was done by Rev. Daniel Shayam. Benediction was blessed by K. Wilson Ezung, Associate Pastor, Police Baptist Church Bhandari.  

A press release stated that the programme was led by Kali Yeptho, Lecturer GCTC, and the Pianist was Albert Kanken, newly appointed Music Director, GCTC. Golden Crown Choir with Conductor Avoni Odyuo presented two songs - Prayer of St Francis, and Hallelujah Chorus. The valedictory speech was delivered by Honily Sumi.
