Kiphire, November 9 (MExN): Good Shepherd High School, Kiphire, held its parting social event 2025 on November 8, bidding farewell to the outgoing students.

The programme began with a warm welcome address delivered by the headmaster of GSHSK, who expressed pride in the students’ achievements and encouraged them to continue their journey with determination and humility.

Makhamba, parent representative, in his message, said that parents work hard to help their children become responsible members of society and reminded the students that the farewell marks not an end but the beginning of a new chapter in life.

‘We wish all the students the best for their exams and future endeavours; study hard and make us proud,’ stated a press release received here.

Longtili C Sangtam, president of the Good Shepherd Alumni Association, in his speech, congratulated the outgoing batch by stating 38 dreamers are stepping out from Good Shepherd family today.

He urged the students to discover their strengths and explore the endless opportunities life offers and he also encouraged parents to recognize their children’s individual talents and interests, stating that “life is not all about government jobs—there’s much more beyond it.”

Longtili announced the introduction of the Good Shepherd Toppers Award from 2025 onwards, stating that the Alumni Association will honour the state or subject toppers from the school every year.

The event concluded with a closing prayer led by Apiba A Sangtam, an alumnus of GSHSK.
