Mon, May 26 (MExN): The Gorkha Baptist Church (GBCM) in collaboration with Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum (KBBB) Women Ministry organised a two-day Fathers’ Seminar from May 24-25 at GBCM.
Rev Moba Konyak, the pastor of Pastor Konyak Baptist Church Mon and Pongjei Konyak Evengelist KBBB were the resource persons of the seminar held under the theme, “Lord I am Father.”
AS per a GBCM release, topics such as “Fathers Influence,” "Father is a Head,” "Who is the most important person in your life,” “Fathers Manhood,” “Fathers Mission,” and “Fathers Spirituality and Family” were covered during the two-day seminar.
During the seminar, participants were divided into three groups and assigned various activities, during which they shared their own experiences from childhood to fatherhood.
Additionally, all students were asked to write letters to their father, wife, and children.
During the Saturday Vesper Service, participants, along with their wives, attended the service where fathers prayed over their wives by laying their hands on them.
At the end of the session, a total of 25 fathers were awarded graduation certificates, the release added.
