Gorkha Singhadevi Mandir Committee Chandmari held a programme to mark the Consecration of Ram Mandir on January 22.
Kohima, January 23 (MExN): Marking the consecration of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, the Gorkha Singhadevi Mandir Committee Chandmari under the aegis of Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) and its frontal organisations a programme was held at Multi-Utility Hall, GPPK on January 22.
The Information & Publicity Committee, GPPK in a press release stated that the occasion was marked with live screening of programme in the presence of IGP Nagaland Khalate Vikram Mukundrao, Principal Director of School Education, Thavaseelan K, SP Kohima Bharat Laxman and President of Durga Mandir Samity Sudipta Kumar Dey.
Later, Nagaland Minister for Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along also joined the live screening programme. The programme was chaired by GPPK President Santu Thapa while Gorkha Singhadevi Mandir Committee Milan Sunam gave the vote of thanks.
