Gov distributes books on Indian personalities

KOHIMA, JULY 10 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya today distributed books on great Indian personalities to GMS, Officers Hill Kohima, GMS Mengujuma, Jo Foundation Kohima and the Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home at a function held in Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima.


A press release from the PRO to the Governor stated that Governor Acharya asserted libraries were an essential part of an educational institution. He stated that students should be encouraged to take interest in reading books so as to expand their knowledge and called on the teachers to work towards strengthening the society by being dedicated in their profession.


The Governor handed the books to the school representatives, which was arranged by him, and called on the institutions to make best use of the books.
