Kohima, August 23 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya held an interaction with students from Nagaland at NITTE University in Mangalore on August 23.
PRO to Governor in a press release stated that during the meeting, Governor encouraged the students to come back to their town and villages and work for the benefit of the society once they complete their education. The Governor also called on the students to take keen interest in learning the local language and to take active part in cultural exchange programmes. He also met with the Chancellor and Academic heads of the University.
NITTE University, under the initiative of Governor Acharya has been offering seats in various courses for students from Nagaland for the past few years. The University has exempted the tuition and hostel fees in full for the courses.
