Government consults NSF and ENSF on Nagaland Staff Selection Board modalities

Kohima, July 1 (MExN): The Nagaland state Government convened a consultative meeting with NSF and ENSF officials on July 1 in the secretariat conference hall to discuss on the issue pertaining to Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).


The meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland, Temjen Toy, was attended by NSF and ENSF officials, Commissioner and Secretary P&AR and other state Government officials. 


According to NSF press statement, the members deliberated on the modalities of Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) as presented by the state government and it was agreed upon that the modalities at hand will be subjected to necessary rectification, if any. 


“The Nagaland Staff Selection Board has been a long cherished dream of the students’ community and the youths of our state which will bring about equal job opportunity and meritocracy in the process of selection,” NSF President Ninoto Awomi and General Secretary Liremo R Kikon stated in the release. 


The Federation while expressing confidence further appealed the state government, “that the Nagaland staff selection board (NSSB) be approved in letter and spirit within the stipulated period of one month as previously communicated.”
