Government employees in SSS and CSS instructed to register in PIMS

Kohima, October 29 (MExN): The Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department (Personal Information Management System Cell) has issued a reminder that the State Government has been instructing government employees to register in the Personal Information Management System (PIMS) for some time, with the latest instructions issued on March 4, 2022, and April 23, 2024.

It has been noted that many government employees engaged under State Sponsored Schemes (SSS) and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) have not yet registered in PIMS. As a result, these employees are not covered by the Chief Minister's Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) and are unable to access the health benefits provided by the State Government, since registration in CMHIS is based on the employee's PIMS code.

To ensure that all government employees are covered under CMHIS, all departments are directed to mandatorily register their SSS and CSS employees in PIMS if they have not done so already.

Departments are reminded to submit applications for registration in PIMS along with the necessary documents, strictly adhering to the instructions provided in the official memoranda dated March 4, 2022, and April 23, 2024. Furthermore, applications for registration must be submitted within one month from the date of this notice.
