Thejao Vihienuo, State Mission Director, RMSA Nagaland releasing a book titled 'Foot Print in education’ at Chiechama Village on March 19.
DIMAPUR, MARCH 19 (MExN): The newly constructed building of the Government Middle School, Chiecha Centre in Chiechama Village was inaugurated on March 19 by Thejao Vihienuo, State Mission Director of RMSA Nagaland, who was also the chief guest.
Highlighting the policy and programmes of the RMSA, Thejao called upon the teachers, the Village Education Committee and the Village authority to work together for young students, “whose future is on their hand.” While expounding the responsibilities of the teachers, he urged the teachers to be honest and sincere in their profession.
In order to attract and encourage young children to the school, he also urged the teachers and the VEC to make the school a students’ friendly place.
Earlier, the chief guest unveiled the monolith of the newly constructed school building and later released a book on the brief history of primary education in Chiechama Village. The book is titled ‘foot print in education’, which was published by the VEC, Chiechama.
The programme was chaired by Pusanyü Rüpreo, chairman of the VEC; invocation prayer was pronounced by Rev. Levi Rio, pastor of CRC. Special numbers were presented by the students of GMS Chiecha Centre. Thekielie Keditsu, AMD & SSA secretary gave a brief history of education in the village.
A report on the construction of the school building was presented by Neilavonuo Theünuo, member secretary VEC. A word of appreciation was given by Mhalezolie Metha, chairman of the Village Council Chiechama.
Short speeches were delivered by Lahienuo Metsieo and Kelhousilie Sanchu on behalf of the teachers, parents and Village Vision Cell respectively. The vote of thank delivered by Kenneth Zumvü, teacher-in-charge; and Khriesaneisa Dzeyie, pastor of Chiecha Basa Baptist pronounced the benediction. It is to be noted that the School building was constructed under SSA programme and VDB fund.
