DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 16 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, attended the 53rd Vijay Diwas celebrations at the Jakhama Military Station, honoring the valor and sacrifices of the armed forces on December 16.
In his address, the Governor emphasized that Vijay Diwas serves as a tribute to the bravery and resilience displayed by Indian soldiers during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. "The victory of December 16, 1971, did not merely reshape borders; it restored dignity, justice, and humanity to millions. Our soldiers' unwavering courage ensured peace and sovereignty, and today, we celebrate their achievements and the spirit of sacrifice they embody," he said.
Governor La Ganesan also acknowledged the dedication of servicemen and servicewomen across the country, highlighting their role in safeguarding the nation's freedoms and fostering a sense of security and prosperity.
