Governor extends Ahuna greetings 

Kohima, November 13 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, RN Ravi has extended Ahuna greetings to Sümi community and those celebrating the post harvest festival. On this auspicious occasion, the Governor urged Sümi men, women, elders and youth to continue to spread the message of peace, love and unity within the Naga society and neighboring states. 


“As Nagas await a dawn of new beginning, Sumis must endeavor to harvest lasting peace in Nagaland and beyond. For an enduring peace, it is imperative for Naga people to spread the message of harmony and oneness towards which the Sumis must play a pivotal role,” the press release from the Governor read. “May this festival of Ahuna foster the spirit of oneness amongst all the communities in Nagaland and beyond,” the release added.
