
Kohima, October 18 (MExN): Nagaland Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi on Monday extended Eid-E-Milad greetings to the people of Nagaland. Eid-E-Milad is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad. “This sacred occasion is observed with acts of kindness rendered towards one another, specially towards the needy and poor,” the Governor stated in his message.
Expressing hope that the occasion would continue to usher the state towards virtue, peace and unity, Governor Mukhi called on the people to celebrate Eid-E-Milad safely following COVID-19 protocols.
