Kohima, September 27 (MExN): On the occasion of Lao-ong Mo, a post harvest festival of the Konyak community, Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya along with his wife has extended warm greetings to all the Konyak people. In a message, the Governor also expressed happiness that the Government of Nagaland has officially recognized the Konyak Lao-ong Mo and included it in the official festival list of the State Government. He wished that the Lao-ong Mo festival is celebrated in a jubilant and successful manner. "Let the festival bring peace, unity and harmony to the Konyak people and the state,” he added. The Governor further appealed to the Konyak tribe to strengthen relationship with friends and fellow citizens and to usher in a new era of peaceful Nagaland.
