Governor gives appreciation letter to e-governance project volunteer

Kohima, June 24 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya has given appreciation letter to Bharat Goyal, Class 11 student of Delhi Public School (DPS), RK Puram, Delhi, for his “excellent work” as volunteer in the e-governance project of Raj Bhavan, Kohima.  

The letter was presented during the launch of the project at the Raj Bhavan on June 22.  

Having a passion for computer science, Bharat volunteered to work on the e-governance project that included accounting software, inventory management, provident fund and record management systems besides an app for Raj Bhavan, Kohima, informed a press release from PRO to the Governor.  

He attended national level training camp in Chennai last month as one of the 31 students selected from all over India.  

Acharya also lauded Bharat for taking initiative to develop interest of students in computer science and his motivational PowerPoint presentation on ‘Career in Information Technology for Digital India’ to toppers of Class 10 and Class 12 of Nagaland Board of School Education at a function at Raj Bhavan, the release added.  

Bharat is one of the school toppers in Class 10 scoring 98% marks and also Coordinator of Exun Club, a very prestigious information technology club.
