Dehradun, November 1 (MExN): Nagaland Governor PB Acharya attended a programme on Students’ Experience in Inter-State Living “Knowing North East – Knowing India” at Baba Farid Institute of Technology (BFIT), Dehradun as special guest on October 31.
In his address, PB Acharya said that very few people know the culture, traditions and problems faced by the people of North East. He also opined that mainland people should visit the North East region to experience food habits, culture, tradition, living style, PRO to Governor stated in a press release.
During the programme North East students in Dehradun also expressed their views and problems.
After the programme the Governor interacted with office bearers of Naga Students Union Dehradun (NSUD).
The Lighting of the Lamp was done by the Chief Guest. Cultural performances were presented by students from Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura and Uttarakhand.
