Dimapur: Governor of Nagaland Dr Ashwani Kumar accompanied by his wife Chandak A.K. visited the Ganeshnagar Industrial Center, which is about 32 kms away from Dimapur on March 25.
Dr Ashwani also visited the Nagaland Food Private Ltd ANIFEED manufacturing of poultry, piggery & cattle feeds, export promotion industrial production and Fine Windows Company which deals in supper light frames. He also inspected the hiport of the Industrial Center and was shown the overview of the center and briefed about other development aspects that are being planned.
Later, he interacted with industries officials, NIDC, entrepreneurs and others. The Governor enquired about their problems and sought suggestions for solution to make the center a hub of economic activity. Citing the example of the few industries in the state, which are not fully operational and utilized, he said that we need to draw lessons why projects fail before pumping in money otherwise it would only be a loss of money, time and energy. He added that there is no shortage of courageous and intellectual entrepreneurs in our state but cautioned that before taking up any project we have to identify the areas of what will benefit and help us.
The Governor was also accompanied by Commissioner & Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Thangi Manen, Director of Industries, Director of NIDC, DC Dimapur, SP Dimapur besides other officials.
