
Mangalore, October 28 (MExN): Nagaland Governor PB Acharya interacted with executive members of Naga Students Forum Mangalore (NSFM) on October 25 at Circuit House, Kadri, Mangaluru.
He stressed on the importance of learning the local language Kannada/Tulu and also to built good relationship with the locals in Mangalore and become a bridge between the Nagas and Mangalore and vice-versa.
He also spoke briefly on the history of Konkans, Nagas, Parsi, Jews and further encouraged the students to take up journalism to voice the need of the people or skill-based professional courses and engineering, entrepreneurship, stated a release from NSFM members. He also highlighted the availability of loans at Rudra Bank for small scale industries.
The Governor also gave an overview of the current situation and realities in Nagaland and stimulated the insights of the students to analyze the situation and work upon it with determination and commitment for a better future.
He also challenged the members present, pointing that that “the objective of education is not only to be educated, become rich and be satisfied but to serve the community, society, state and the country.”
