Governor of Nagaland greets on Guru Nanak Devji, Tokhu Emong

Kohima, November 4 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland, Ajay Kumar Bhalla has extend greetings to the people of Nagaland, particularly to Sikh brethren, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Devji's Birth Anniversary on November 5.

Guru Nanak Devji's universal message of love, peace, and humanism continues to inspire and enlighten humanity across the world. His teachings remind us to live with compassion, selflessness, and devotion to the service of others. “Let us all come together to uphold these noble ideals and strive to create a society founded on harmony, equality, and goodwill. May the divine teachings of Guru Nanak Devji guide us towards unity and the betterment of humankind,” he said.

The Governor joined the people of Nagaland in celebrating this sacred occasion and prays for a peaceful, prosperous, and harmonious State.

Also, on the occasion of Tokhu Emong, Governor Bhalla has extended greetings and best wishes to the Lotha community and to all celebrating the festival.

Tokhu Emong is a time of thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest and a celebration of unity, reconciliation, and generosity. “As we mark this significant festival, let us continue to uphold and promote the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and values that it embodies. May the spirit of Tokhu Emong bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to all,” the Governor added.
