KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 30 (MExN): Nagaland State Governor PB Acharya today issued a statement to the Indian Army congratulating it for “conducting surgical strikes on the night of 28th September on terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) to safeguard our Nation and neutralise Pakistan sponsored terrorists planning to infiltrate into Indian territory.”
The Governor, in his statement also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi “for his strong and right decision to fight terrorism.”
“I salute our brave soldiers for their valour. We are really proud of our Army and the whole nation supports them. Our brave jawans have given a befitting reply to those attacking innocent civilians and our jawans. This surgical attack reaffirms Army’s valour and commitment to nation’s security,” the Governor stated.
“It is a proof of Indian Army’s valour and patriotism. A clear message has been sent to the terrorists by destroying their launch pads across the LoC. I once again congratulate Indian Army for their brave action,” he added.
