Govt accords recognition to ‘PSAN’

Kohima, August 3 (DIPR): The Government of Nagaland has accorded recognition to “Prisons Service Association, Nagaland” with effect from the date of issue of this notification No.AR-3/GEN-215/2011 dated July 28 under the following terms and conditions: that the Association shall be a non-Political and non-Commercial body; that the affairs of the Association will be conducted strictly in accordance with the Constitution of Prisons Service Association, Nagaland as submitted to the Government submitted vide Association letter No. PSAN-2/2007-08/07 dated 03/06/2009; Any amendment/change in the Constitution of the Association shall be carried out in accordance with the prescribed procedure therein and shall be notified to the Government of Nagaland within 7 days of such amendment; The State Government reserves the right to withdrawing this recognition if the activities of the Association do not conform to the aims and objectives of the Association or are not considered to be in the public interest.
