Nagaland School Education Director, Razouseyi Vese today informed that the government has accorded sanction for renovation of Rüzüikhrie Government Higher Secondary School Kohima.
The related work order is expected to be issued soon, the Director said while addressing Inter District Science Seminar at Rüzüikhrie GHSS Kohima on May 16.
Around Rs. 5 to 6 crore is likely to be involved for the re-construction purpose.
The old structure will not be disturbed; Vese said adding that the old structure will be re-furnished to keep the school as heritage.
This was initiated by Nagaland School Education & SCERT, Advisor Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome.
Meanwhile, Vese called upon the teachers to go extra mile to make Rüzüikhrie GHSS as a model school.
