Dimapur, November 24 (DIPR): The Government of Nagaland has declared the days specified below as General Holidays and Restricted Holidays under the Government of Nagaland during the Calendar year 2012 and further declares in pursuance of the explanation to section-3 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 (Act, XXVI), as public Holidays in Nagaland during 2012. There will be no public transaction in the National Bank on these days. This was informed in a notification issued by the Home Department General Administration Branch on 22nd November 2011. According to the list of general holidays for Government servants of Nagaland during the calendar year 2012 a total of 25 days have been identified. This includes 9 days for Christmas from 23rd to 31st December, 2012.
