
Kohima, November 20 (DIPR): In reference to the Government of Nagaland, Finance Department’s OM No. FIN/ROP/4/84/(Vol-I) dated 12-10-2012 on the General Authority for enhanced rates of DA/ADA to the employees of Nagaland Government w.e.f 01-01-2012 & 01-07-2012 respectively, the Accountant General is authorize hereby for making payment of the enhanced rates of DA/ADA to the Government employees of the State as detailed below with the terms and conditions thereof:
(i) Dearness Allowance for employees drawing Pay under ROP Rules, 2010 w.e.f. 01-01-2012 to 30-06-2012 at the rate of 65% and w.e.f. 01-07-2012 at the rate of 72% of pay in the Pay Band including Grade Pay.
(ii) Dearness Allowance for employees drawing Pay under ROP Rules, 1999 w.e.f. 01-01-2012 to 30-06-2012 at the rate of 139% and w.e.f. 01-07-2012 at the rate of 151 % of pay including Dearness Pay.
(iii) Additional Dearness Allowance for employees drawing Pay under ROP Rules, 1993 w.e.f. 01-01-2012 to 30-06-2012 at the rate of 514% and w.e.f. 01-07-2012 at the rate of 547% of pay.
The amount of DA/ADA shall be rounded off to the nearest rupee. Fraction of 50 paise and above shall be rounded off to the next higher rupee and fraction less than 50 paise shall be ignored.
The arrears from 01-01-2012 to 31-10-2012 shall be credited into the respective GPF/CPF accounts and cash payment may be made from the salary for the month of November, 2012 onwards. However, employees who have retired from Service or have died or are due to retire on superannuation on or before 30-04-2013 shall be exempted from these conditions.
The amount of arrears so credited to the Provident Funds shall not be treated as accumulation for the purpose of Temporary/Non-refundable withdrawals till 28-02-2014. While sanctioning temporary/Non-refundable withdrawals from Provident Funds, the sanctioning authority shall take care to exclude this lump sum credit till 28-02-2014. However, this condition shall not apply in case of final withdrawal from Provident Funds in respect of employees, who have retired, died or have ceased to be in Service.
