Dimapur, March 24 (DIPR): In view of the forthcoming Assam Assembly Election, ADC Mangkolemba, T Imtiwapang Aier has directed all Village Council Chairmen under the Sub Division to inform villagers in their respective jurisdictions that movement of all vehicles and people within 5 km belt on the Assam side of Assam Nagaland Border has been restricted from 8:00pm to 5:00am, as night curfew from dusk to dawn has been imposed by the Jorhat District Administration. It further advised all villagers not to carry arms for any purpose including hunting. Public are also advised not to carry cash amounting to more than Rs. 50,000 while passing through Assam as Election Model Code has been enforced.
