Kohima, October 14 (MExN): Government Polytechnic Kohima (GPK) organized its first tech fest “Insignia 2018” on October 13 at the institute.
The fest was formally inaugurated by Principal Er Keyiekhru Rhutso, a press release from Government Polytechnic Kohima Students’ Union President informed.
In the gaming events, PUBG and DOTA, St Joseph’s College Jakhama bagged the first prize. Kohima Science College won the first prize in extempore while Government Polytechnic Kohima and Oriental College came second and third respectively. Kohima Science College also bagged the first prize in quiz and photography events.
In GPK’s Got Talent, Beat Generation was awarded the first prize. In the entertainment session, Seyievinuo Chuzho, beat boxer Mhalelhuo Rutsa and DJ Seyie enthralled the audience with their performances.
The one day festival was sponsored by BMG Informatics, K&K motors, Petros Dance Studio with Black Out Printers as the print partner, Seven Sound Studios as the sound partner and Tummy’s Delight as the caterer.
