Relief for Inavi’s displaced
The state government today said that relief materials would be extended to families of  “unrecognized” Inavi village or “united Naga village”, whose houses and properties were razed by the outfit NSCN (IM) on June 16 in Intangki National Park.   A ‘public statement’ issued through the Home Commissioner of Nagaland, Mhathung Kithan was received here today. The relief materials will be provided at an ‘appropriate place,’ the government said. “In the aftermath of the burning down of hutments/dwelling places in the Intangki Reserve Forest in the so-called ‘Inavi village/United Naga village’ (unrecognized) village by the NSCN (IM) on 16/6/2009, the state government has decided to extend relief to the affected families through the district administration,” it stated.
