Govt. told to stop cross-transfer

Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): The state government is told by the Naga Students’ Federation to ‘immediately’  stop cross-transferring lecturers. The NSF took strong exception  to what it said in a note today is the cross-transferring of lecturers as well as the absence of teaching staff. The NSF also mentioned the principal of Sao Chang College, understood to be absent from work. The government is told to “stop the practice once and for all.” The NSF said it has been watching the cross-transferring in many colleges during mid-academic sessions. Ministers and “legislative members” are also asked to desist from handling ‘such matters.’
