‘Govt vehicles still doing school duty’

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 30 (MExN): The Angami Students’ Union (ASU) despite its appeal and frequent field checking of government vehicles to desist from plying the official designated vehicle for school duty has encountered and witnessed some erring government official still misusing the vehicles. Stating this in a press note, the union Secretary, Education Kesosul Christopher Ltu stated that henceforth it was resolved to initiate its second phase of action towards any government vehicle found being misuse other than for official purpose.

The Angami Students’ Union (ASU) also while reiterating to uphold its resolution to monitor charges of private tuition fees within its jurisdiction hereby again furnishes the fee structure: Rs. 300 for Class 10 and below per student as monthly fee with minimum 5 classes a week and minimum 1hour every class;

Rs 400 for Class 11 and 12 per student as monthly fee with minimum 5 classes a week and Rs 200 per student for classes every alternate day i.e, 3 classes in a week and minimum duration of 1 hour every class; Rs. 1000 as monthly fee with minimum 5 classes a week and a minimum duration of 1 hour for every class (Home Tuition).

The ASU appealed and urged the students and parents to intimate the Union’s office or the following contact number for any violation of this notification or for any exorbitant charge of private tuition fees.
