Govt working on war footing to complete Nagaland Medical College

Nagaland’s minister for health & family welfare, S. Pangnyu Phom today said the state government is working on a war footing to complete the Nagaland Medical College located at Phriebagei, Kohima.

Speaking at the World Hepatitis Day here at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), the minister said the PDA government under the chief minister-ship of Neiphiu Rio is dedicated to sincerely implement the centrally sponsored schemes in the state.

He encouraged the medical fraternity to execute the programme sincerely and to make sure that all deserving beneficiaries “should not be left out from availing the various benefits.”

Pangnyu expressed happiness that the doctors are now coming forward to serve in the rural area and also thanked all the senior officers from the department for implementing the Nagaland Health Service Rule, 2017 successfully.
