GPF statement for Nagaland now on Digi locker: Principal Accountant General (A&E)

Kohima, June 10 (MExN): The Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) Nagaland has integrated the annual General Provident Fund (GPF) statement for the year 2023-24 into the Digi Locker service.

This initiative was supported technically by the National e-Governance Division (Digi Locker), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), and the National Informatics Centre, Nagaland State Centre, Kohima, according to a press release from the office.

The Digi Locker service, a flagship initiative of MeitY under the Digital India programme, aims at the digital empowerment of citizens by providing access to authentic digital documents through a secure cloud-based platform for storage, sharing, and verification of documents and certificates.

To access the GPF statement, users need to visit Digi Locker, select 'State Government - Nagaland', and then 'GPF statement.' Users must create a user ID and set a password. After logging in, they can search for and fetch the latest annual GPF statement using their personal login information.

The release also mentioned that this facility is available on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and LinkedIn.
