GPRN responds to Konyak Union

Dimapur, Jan 18 (MExN): The GPRN Konyak Region has strongly reiterated that at no point of time it submitted any secret proposals as alleged. In a press statement Ngami, the CAO of the Konyak Region, responding to the Konyak Union’s allegations and observations on the referred secret proposals, stated that the GPRN have even published in the local media denying such a proposal adding that the concerned Naga citizen had also come out openly against the NIA (Naga Inhabited Areas) document on the booklet ‘ The greatest betrayal plan on reposed trust of the Nagas in contemporary period by government of India and her associate at all level.’

“A man in black glasses sees everything in black. A man with high trauma psychosis becomes impulsively shocked when something happens, thus interpreting the facts negatively with pessimism. So also the present KU (Konyak Union) office bearers’ egoistic pro-Khaplang, brain-washed by their misleading anti-Naga elements reveals an unfortunate presentation” the GPRN stated in response to the Konyak Union. The press statement also observed how Tingnyai and Naowang had contested in the 1947 elections when all Nagas rejected to merge with the Indian union in 1950 and according to the CAO, continues to remain firm till the present times. It advised the KU that it stop being misled or be unwise by acting on presumptions since a little knowledge was dangerous.
