GPRN/NSCN Clarifies On ‘38 home comers’

DIMAPUR, APRIL 6 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has clarified on the press note issued by the MIP NSCN/GPRN wherein the latter had mentioned about ’38 homecomers’ joining its fold. In a clarification the GPRN/NSCN has stated that “Mr. Kiyekhu Awomi, the habitual defector who reportedly quoted that there is no agenda for political talks and reconciliation which appeared in the local dailies on 6th April 2011”, was duty bound to criticize GPRN/NSCN as that was “the one and only option to get back into the good books of his new masters”. “Except for few of them sitting in the picture, all others are either terminated national workers or unemployed civilians having had no connection with GPRN/NSCN”, the press note stated.
The GPRN/NSCN went on to state that Mr. Kiyekhu Awomi must be “congratulated for his 5th defection in his scandalous national service”.  “A revolution that exists on the sacrifice of thousands of men and women for over six decades cannot be undermined by a comment of a gypsy like Kiyekhu Awomi”, it stated.  “Nagas know that GPRN/NSCN is firm on its commitment for peace and reconciliation. This is in consonance to the Naga people’s common objective and this vision cannot be dimmed or obliterated by unprincipled and unreliable person who wanders only for his bread. The old adage ‘a rolling stone gathers no moss’ suits Kiyekhu and his cronies. Such men will never understand political agendas and issues here, there or anywhere even in hundred years”, the GPRN/NSCN stated.
According to the GPRN/NSCN Mr. Kiyekhu Awomi should know that “for people like him, many innocent Nagas have died” and that a “time will come for the Nagas to adjudge the wrongs committed by such fickle minded men”. “He is old enough to retire instead of indulging in defection adventures. GPRN/NSCN would only hope that innocent Nagas would not be caught in the crossfire of these dishonorable men”.
