DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 6 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has expressed condolences on the death of one of its senior functionaries, identified as Col. Yankiu, who hailed from Longisunger Yimkhiung region.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the outfit said the deceased had been associated with its organisation since February 15, 1994, and had served for over three decades. It described him as a committed member of the group and stated that his contributions would be remembered.
The statement, issued by Brig. Khuiho Yeptho, GSO-1 (Administration), conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for comfort during their time of grief.
