Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): The ‘GPRN/NSCN’ today informed of having apprehended one woman in connection with theft of “fanta” (timber planks). According to a note from ‘GPRN/NSCN’, group unidentified in the note, the woman, one Nzanbeni Lotha was apprehended on October 19 in connection with stealing the planks from ‘saw mills,’ in connivance with one Arjun Kachari. The said woman also allegedly “harassed” the “UT-1” cadres who went to apprehend her, a note appended by one Aron, “secretary, union territory-1 GPRN/NSCN” claimed. The woman also allegedly aided in the escape of the said accomplice. The note also alleged that after she was apprehended, Dimapur West Police Station arrested one Lhowoto Zhimo, a “leacy Dimapur town-in charge.” The police demanded the woman back in exchange for the said cadre, the note alleged.
