Dimapur, August 12 (MExN): Hojei Swu, a Kilonser in the GPRN/NSCN Cabinet has been entrusted with additional responsibility as Chairman UT I Region.
The office of the Ato Kilonser released the order with immediate effect, informed a press note issued by the MIP GPRN/NSCN while adding that Hojei replaces Tokiho Aye, Member National Tatar Hoho, who was the caretaker UT I Chairman for nearly a year.
The handing over of the office took place on 11th August at the residence of the outgoing Chairman UTI, at designated camp, Khehoi.
Senior National workers from UT I Region attended a ceremony where in Tokiho Aye thanked all National Workers from UT I for offering him fullest co-operation during his short stint as UT I Chairman. He pledged unflinching co-operation to the new incumbent in the common march towards our political and historical right.
Hojei Swu thanked the gathering of UT I National workers and sought the support and co-operation of all rank and file under UT I region.
He pledged to uphold the interest of the Naga people and their cherished dream above all else, according to the press note.
